Terms and Conditions

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to MCF Window Cleaning. By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully before booking our services.

SERVICES

We provide professional window cleaning, gutter cleaning, power washing and holiday lighting services for residential and small business properties. Our services include both interior and exterior cleaning.
 

BOOKING & PAYMENT

Booking: All bookings must be made in advance. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us.

Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit/debit cards.

Cancellation: Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee of $50

 

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITES

Access: The customer is responsible for providing clear access to all areas to be cleaned. This includes removing any obstacles or items that may hinder our work including anything on window sills or blocking windows on interior or exterior.
Utilities: The customer must ensure that water and electricity are available on-site if required for the services.
Pets: The customer must ensure that pets are secured and do not interfere with the work being performed. Please pick up any pet waste in areas where technicians may need to walk or move equipment.

LIABILITY & DAMAGES

Notice of Damage: It is the customer’s responsibility to promptly report any damage to windows that they believe was caused by our work. Any such damage must be reported to an MCF employee or agent within 24 hours of service completion. After this 24-hour period, the work will be considered complete, and the customer will be deemed satisfied.

The customer agrees that MCF will not be liable for any damage reported after this period and expressly releases MCF from any claims or causes of action related to late-reported damage. If damage is reported within the required timeframe, the customer must provide MCF with reasonable and timely access to the property to inspect the allegedly damaged windows.
 
We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage including damage that may be revealed once debris and dirt have been removed, damage due to age of windows or for damage resulting from faulty or improperly installed windows. 
 

SAFTEY & REGULATIONS

Compliance: We adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations. Our employees are trained and equipped to carry out their duties safely.

Hazardous Conditions: We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are deemed unsafe.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE 

Quality of Service: We strive to provide the highest quality of service. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will address your concerns.

Re-cleaning: If you are not satisfied with the cleanliness of your windows, we will touch them up at no additional charge, provided that the complaint is made within 24 hours of the initial service.

Weather Guarantee:
If a storm occurs within three (3) days of service and affects the cleanliness of your windows, MCF will return for a complimentary touch-up upon request. The customer must notify MCF within this 3-day period to schedule the touch-up. This guarantee applies only to weather-related dirt or streaks and does not cover other sources of window soiling.
 

Changes to Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The State of Oregon and the State of Idaho Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The State of Oregon and the State of Idaho.

HOLIDAY LIGHT SPECIFIC

1. Holiday Lighting Installation:
Service Provider agrees to professionally install holiday lighting on the Customer’s property. The lighting includes clips, bulbs, wires, and other necessary materials. 

2. Customer Purchases the Lights:
Customer agrees to purchase all lighting materials in the first year of service. These materials are the property of the Customer after the purchase. Service Provider will provide recommendations on the necessary quantity and quality of lights for the installation.

3. Storage:
Customer is solely responsible for the storage of the lights after the initial installation and each subsequent removal.

4. Warranty Provided by Service Provider:
Service Provider warrants the lights for a period of five (5) years from the date of the initial installation. During this warranty period, Service Provider will repair or replace any failed bulbs, clips, or wire at no additional cost to the Customer.
The warranty includes:
• Replacement of failed or defective bulbs.
• Replacement of broken clips.
• Repair or replacement of damaged wiring.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper storage, unauthorized modifications, or misuse of the lights by the Customer.

5. Service Fees:
Customer agrees to pay the agreed-upon service fee for the installation, maintenance, and removal of the lights each year. Fees for repairs not covered by the warranty will be discussed and agreed upon before any work is done..

6. Terms of Payment:
Payment for the lights (first year) and installation service is due upon completion of the installation. Subsequent service fees for yearly re-installation will be invoiced after each service, with payment due at time of installation.

7. Termination of Warranty: If the Customer terminates this Agreement or hires another service provider for the installation, maintenance, or removal of the holiday lights during the warranty period, the warranty provided by High Desert Window Maintenance and MCF Window Cleaning will be null and void. No further repairs or replacements under the warranty will be provided if the terms of this Agreement are not followed.
